Led by singer/harmonica player Stuart ‘Son’ Maxwell, the Shufflepack plays groovy shuffling blues in the classic style, from Chicago to the West Coast. The music of Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, the Kings and all the rest, plus plenty of original material, guarantees a stomping, foot-tapping session. The Shufflepack have become great festival favourites and their commitment to the Birmingham event was evident when they were unable to travel to last October’s event under covid restrictions – so they livestreamed a fine set from the Chilterns into various Birmingham venues.
