The Platinum Swing Band is a 16 piece band who formed just after the coronavirus sanctions were lifted, comprising of some of the Midlands’ most respected musicians who have a great passion for playing swing music and a great desire for live entertainment. Directed by Phil Phillips, they present a tribute to the original 16 men swinging, the Count Basie Orchestra.
