With a lot of uncertainty around at the moment thanks to the coronavirus, we think it’s important to keep people updated on how this year’s Jazz Festival might be affected.
At the moment, we intend to continue with our plans to present The Birmingham, Sandwell & Westside Jazz Festival from July 17th to 26th.
We value the well-being of our audiences, musicians and venue staff, and will continue to closely monitor the development of the effects of the virus. If it becomes clear that it’s not possible to safely deliver the action-packed 10 summer days of music that our audience have come to expect, then we will re-arrange for later in the year as appropriate.
Work continues on planning this year’s event, with 150 performances in 85 venues confirmed so far, and bands and artists from the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Australia, the USA and Lithuania all in place.
To hear about any festival developments as soon as they’re announced, including the programme release currently scheduled for late May, be sure to sign up to our mailing list here.
Stay well, and we look forward to seeing you at this year’s festival.
