Bon Accord is a quartet playing gypsy jazz, but with a slightly unusual line-up, though clarinettist Harry Christian, a long-time admirer of Django’s work, points out that he frequently used the instrument. Richard Adey plays accordion, an instrument with the strongest Parisian associations, and the more orthodox Hot Club instruments of guitar (Mike Bethel) and bass (Simon Smith) complete the line-up.
